- Click on the Windows Start icon. In the "Search programs and files" box, type in "Outlook". A list of programs containing the word Outlook will appear.
- To create a shortcut, right-click on Outlook and choose "Pin to taskbar" to pin it to your taskbar, or "Pin to start menu" to pin it to your start menu, or "Send to > Desktop" to create a shortcut on your desktop.
- When you use Outlook for the first time on any machine, you need to configure it for your email account. Click on the Microsoft Outlook icon and follow all the default prompts. Once it is configured, it will take a few minutes to update your mailbox. Watch the status display in the lower right-hand corner of the Outlook window. Once it reads “All folders are up to date,”you are ready to use your email using Outlook!
